Biography

Another ridiculously tall player, Fox is capable of playing anywhere down the middle of the park but prefers centre-half where he can "play it as he sees it" in something of a quarter-back role. Ben has spent most of the last decade berating any Exeter player who has shown any inclination of playing for the university instead of turning out in the college league. His Exeter team-mates were thus highly surprised with the speed with which Fox "jumped ship" the moment he was offered a position on the Centaurs bench. Always quick to exploit an opportunity, Ben has been spotted using his new found position as "a shoe-in for the varsity squad" as an opening gambit with any girl that will listen (and a few that won't) in Park End. It is a tactic that has served Fox well with him "batting well above his average" in recent weeks. Talk about Fox now being a target for Blue-Tac has been much exagerated as it has emerged that it is actually him that is more likely to be wowed by the presence of women's blues rugby players on nights out. Fox was once seen as a Park End stalwart, guaranteed to be present every Wednesday.

Many OUAFC members have been staggered at the speed at which Fox has acquired his own profile on www.ouafc.com. Fox's housemate Dave Robinson has apparently used up all his favours with webmaster Tom Brown in order to secure him the honour. Robinson was afterall, in danger of actually doing some work.

Foxy turned down the chance to buy Blues stash earlier in the season fearing after playing only 16 mins in a Centaurs game he'd be ridiculed. However, in his capacity as Exeter College stash man, he decided their gear should be blue, even though the college colours are purple and black and the team kit is red. The college crest was also embroidered extremely centrally meaning when wearing a scarf Ben looks like a Blues player when walking down the High Street.
