Biography
Beginning last season as a Centaurs regular, Luke benefited from an extensive bout of surgery on his upper back and shoulder region in order to let him carry midfield partner Jonny Siah more effectively during their matches together. The perma-tanned Luke was drafted into the Blues squad where he was part of most tanned centre-midfield partnership in country, alongside fellow sun-bed regular Tom Rae.
An avid vegetarian, away from the football pitch Luke enjoys avoiding meat - both at Hassan's kebab van at 3 in the morning and during the preceeding 4 hours in Park End.
Barrs was unlucky not to get a blue in his first season, an unused substitute in the Varsity match. However, he has started this season in style and, after a superb free kick in the Blues' season opener against the AFA.
